AIA Chapter Awards program

Throughout June and July, the Australian Institute of Architects’ chapters hold their Architecture Awards presentation events.

The Institute’s awards program is extremely important because it celebrates the vision, talent and tenacity of architects through recognition of their work; and presents an opportunity for public and peer recognition. It also provides the Institute with a valuable mechanism to promote Australian architects and architecture locally, nationally and internationally.

The awards also acknowledge the clients whose foresight and commitment to quality are essential for the outcomes that make the world a better place for all of us.

The Institute’s Awards program showcases what it is that architecture can and does achieve. At each of the presentation events (listed below), we will celebrate what is being achieved by design: elegant solutions to the challenges of population growth, climate change, diminishing resources, higher energy costs and the lack of affordable housing.
