CHASS Australia Prizes 2015

The Council of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS) are now accepting nominations for their 2015 Australia Prizes, worth up to $3,500. The Australia Prizes honour the achievements by Australians working, studying or training in the humanities, arts and social sciences.

In 2015, there are four prizes for different categories:

The first prize ($3,500, sponsored by Routledge) will be awarded for a non-fiction book that enriches Australian cultural and intellectual life. The second prize ($3,500, sponsored by Routledge) will be awarded to an exceptional artistic performance, exhibition, film, television show, play, composition or practical contribution to arts policy. The third price ($2,000, sponsored by Future Leaders) will be awarded to an individual under the age of 35 who is demonstrating leadership and potential in the arts, humanities or social sciences. The fourth prize ($500, sponsored by the Co-Op) will be awarded to a student essay, exhibition, performance, project or thesis in the humanities, arts or social sciences.

Nominations for all prizes close on Monday 1 June 2015.
