Parlour launches Guides to Equitable Practice for architects

Parlour brings together research, informed opinion and resources on women, equity and architecture in Australia. It seeks to expand the spaces and opportunities available to women while also revealing the many women who already contribute in diverse ways.

Earlier this month Parlour launched the Parlour Guides to Equitable Practice. The Guides have been developed to help Australian architecture move towards a more equitable profession; one that offers opportunity for all and is better positioned to meet contemporary challenges.  Covering issues such as pay equity, long hours, negotiation, part time work, career progression and negotiation, the guides cover issues that are an invaluable resources for everyone in the profession and students considering a career in architecture.
