Robotic Arm Helps Children to Write

Sydney studio Reactive’s Most Powerful Arm gives children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy the ability to write. Reactive won an award at the Australian Design Biennale in Hobart.

 

The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) handed out its 2014 awards as part of this year’s Australian Design Biennale in Hobart last weekend.

 

Five “Pinnacles” were awarded for the year’s most outstanding projects and 67 distinctions handed out across categories such as branding, graphic design, books, spatial design, digital design.

 

Gongs were also given for a looser, more philosophical clutch of classifications including “design for good” and “design effectiveness”.
