Accounts Receivable Manager – Torrance,
Direct Hire up to 80k 

Overview:

We are hiring an  Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our billing and collections team. This person will make sure all bills are accurate, payments are collected on time, and reports are completed. The AR Manager will also help improve processes, train staff, and work with others to solve problems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Work:

  • Oversee collecting payments, including Client Contract Billing, Regional Center accounts, and Rehab services.
  • Make sure all invoices are correct and sent out on time.
  • Create and share monthly reports showing payment statuses and overdue accounts.
  • Staff Training and Support:
  • Teach company staff how to use e-billing systems and manage billing tasks.
  • Fill in for team members when they are out.
  • Work with others inside and outside the company to solve billing issues.

Improving Processes:

  • Help develop better systems and policies to make work faster and easier.
  • Find and use new tools or software to improve the way things are done.

Team Leadership:

  • Hire and train AR team members to create a strong and efficient group.
  • Support and guide team members to help them grow and succeed.

Staying Compliant:

  • Keep up-to-date on rules and guidelines for Regional Center billing.
  • Follow all laws and company rules as a Mandated Abuse Reporter.

Other Tasks:

  • Complete additional duties as directed by the Accounting Director.

 

Requirements:

  • At least two years of accounting education at the college level.
  • A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Sage 100 is a plus.
  • Strong skills in organization, problem-solving, and communication.
  • Must read, write, and speak English fluently.

Additional Information:

  • Must follow company and health department vaccination policies.
  • Work takes place in a quiet office environment with little exposure to noise or other distractions.
