LHH is excited to partner with a top client in the real estate industry to find an exceptional  Accounts Receivable Manager . This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service.  Hybrid, 3 days in downtown Manhattan.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a small team.
• Maintain excellent tenant relations and customer service.
• Review and reconcile cash applications daily and monthly.
• Implement efficient processes for the AR team.
• Collaborate with operations and leasing teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Manage security deposit refunds within the required 14-day period.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of security deposit bank accounts.
• Oversee collections for both residential and commercial properties.
• Work with external attorneys on tenant litigation.
• Assist with various tasks as needed.
• Update tenant ledgers and review rental agreements.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions for month-end close.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Commercial and Residential Real Estate is a MUST.
• Knowledge of commercial AR, including Operating Expenses and Real Estate Tax escalations.
• Experience with residential litigation.
• Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• Experience in a Real Estate environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Yardi (a plus).
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fun work environment.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.

Salary: 100k to 125k w/discretionary bonus
