TRC Talent seeks a full time Associate Project Manager for a leading retail firm in the food industry. Position is remote but must be based in Boston or Atlanta. College degree and at least two-three years of directly related experience.
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for analyzing projects and developing schedules that meet development goals projected. The Associate Project Manager will provide direction and guidance to franchisees, field executives, architects and general contractors related to new and remodel projects. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a high level of communication with all stakeholders and equipment vendors concerning forecasting, product availability, and scheduling. The Associate Project Manager will also maintain equipment templates, data collection, tracking, and report development in support of the group. The ideal candidate must be a motivated team player that has an elevated attention to detail, organization, service, communication, and developing strong working relationships.
The group has procurement and supply chain responsibilities for indirect products and services, such as kitchen equipment, smallwares, custom fabrication, distribution, and consolidation programs, construction materials, furnishings, lighting, signs, and store level services. The Associate Project Manager will report directly to the Program Manager.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide take off schedules from K1 drawings
• Work with customer to resolve plan layout standard issues in a timely manner
• Clearly communicate project changes expeditiously to all stakeholders internal and external
• Data collection, tracking, and report development in support of the team associated with program via Smartsheet
• Evolve processes, reporting, and tracking to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain equipment templates which will include DBI and manufacturers model numbers
• Track and provide feedback to Program Manager on quality and delivery performance metrics to assure continuous improvement in those areas
• Work with Suppliers and Inventory Buyers to resolve supply challenges in a timely manner
• Problem solving, issue resolution, and follow-up with suppliers, franchisees, and internal team members tied to supplier performance
• Support Program Manager with preparation of request for information
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred, other equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain team support role considered
• 1-3 years of experience in Foodservice, Hospitality, or Construction industry a plus
• Ability to review architectural drawings and provide take offs
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products required (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Smartsheet experience preferred
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Team player, service oriented, with excellent relationship development skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task with limited supervision to accomplish set deliverables
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing situations and priorities
• Dedicated, collaborative, and proactive
Other Requirements
• Limited amount of travel may be required
