Bankruptcy Attorney

The Law Office of Jeffrey B. Kelly, P.C. is hiring a full-time attorney to represent consumer bankruptcy clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Appear in person for court hearings in Atlanta
• Collaborate with clients, trustees, staff, and the lead attorney
• Communicate with clients through Zoom, video, text, and email
• Deliver accurate, detail-oriented work

Requirements

• Active Georgia law license
• Georgia residency
• Full-time availability (approx. 40 hours/week)

$100,000 yearly

• Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings

• Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience

• Must be an active member of the Georgia Bar
