As an Automation Engineer in Fargo, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, programming, and supporting control systems in industrial and commercial environments. Whether you're advancing in your engineering career or stepping into a senior leadership role, we have a place for you—Automation Engineer II or III (Senior). You’ll collaborate with talented professionals to drive projects from concept to commissioning while continuing to grow your technical expertise.

What We’re Looking for in a Candidate:

Automation Engineer II

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Engineering or a related field.

3–6 years of hands-on experience in industrial control systems.

Proficient with DCS/PLC programming and system integration.

Ability to independently lead loop checks, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Automation Engineer III (Senior)

Bachelor’s or Technical Degree required.

5+ years of experience in automation; Siemens PCS7 preferred.

Proven leadership in project management and engineering team support.

Advanced skills in system architecture, programming, and field integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, configure, and commission PLC, DCS, and HMI systems.

Design and develop control system architecture, network layouts, and instrumentation.

Support site startup, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

Prepare documentation including IO lists, BOMs, drawings, and manuals.

Communicate with clients and project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Mentor junior engineers (Engineer II & III roles).

Lead full project lifecycle and client coordination (Engineer III).

Project Delivery & Accuracy: Timeliness of execution, meeting scope and safety standards.

Technical Excellence: Quality of code, documentation, and system integration.

Customer Satisfaction: Positive client interactions and feedback.

Team Collaboration: Contribution to team goals, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

Continuous Improvement: Growth in technical skills, certifications, and leadership.
