The Barn Crew plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of our patients by maintaining the cleanliness of the barns and surrounding areas. We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Clean occupied stalls by removing waste and soiled bedding materials like straw, hay, or shavings. Strip, wash, sanitize, and disinfect stalls, including walls, floors, doors, and windows, post patient discharge. Clean, rinse, and refill all water tubs. Distribute hay, feed, and bedding materials to the barns. Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, weed eating, and plant/tree trimming in the facility and student housing areas. This is a full-time position that requires working one weekend day per week, with a starting pay of $14.00/hour. Requirements Prior experience handling or working around horses is essential. Ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces. Physical stamina for frequent walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead. Capability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. Experience with driving tractors and operating various farm and landscape equipment. Self-motivated with a strong commitment to maintaining the well-being and comfort of the patients.
