Immediate need for a talented Business Consultant (Junior). This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Oakbrook, IL(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $42 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills: Customer Service ,Clean Energy Knowledge ,Great Communication skills ,MS Office .
  • The group uses Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note, Office 365, One Drive, Windows 11.
  • Candidate should be comfortable using all of these without additional training .
  • In addition, the group uses several other tools and systems, and training will be provided; candidate should be comfortable learning and using new software and tools.
  • Customer Service : ability to understand customer perspectives and desire to resolve issues through outstanding, personalized, and empathetic customer service.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience or call center experience will be a consideration.
  • Clean Energy Knowledge or Experience : including knowledge of solar, interconnections, Net Metering, electric vehicles, renewables, battery storage, electric service.
  • Familiarity with these technologies, processes, and regulations including understanding of Illinois and federal clean energy programs and incentives.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal, written, listening): ability to provide effective customer education and communication.
  • Ability to explain technical and complex topics, customized for individual customer understanding.
  • Position includes significant interface with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • A bit of a detective and problem-solving mindset; the ability to synthesize information gleaned from multiple systems to determine possible issues, next steps, and path forward.
  • Strong interest/passion in advancing clean energy technologies.
  • Ability to retain information, work independently, and reference internal resources for answers. At the same time, candidates must know when to escalate, and when to ask for assistance from team members.
  • A Junior Business Consultant should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should be detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Solar/Net Metering/Interconnection/Electric Vehicle knowledge or experience
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
  • Educating customers about green power options and corresponding programs/services (at Client, the state, nationally)
  • Includes significant interface with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Support and manage the net metering application and enrollment process as it aligns with the legislative requirements.
  • This includes corresponding and interacting with internal and external groups and customers to ensure customer accounts are appropriately assigned to net metering
  • Monitor, interface, and coordinate activities with internal and external groups to ensure proper meter exchanges, submit billing requests, and completion of the enrollment process.
  • Correspond with customers to ensure that required forms and agreements are completed and returned by the customer.
