Why join us? Salary: $110-120k annually Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller (SOX compliance) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in SOX compliance, G/L Accounting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Strategic Planning. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in these areas. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Controller (SOX compliance), you will play a pivotal role in our company's finance department. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of our company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
2. Ensuring our company's compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
3. Developing and implementing strategic financial plans to support our company's growth and profitability objectives.
4. Managing our general ledger and ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
5. Working closely with our hospitality team to develop and implement financial strategies that support our hospitality operations.
6. Staying up-to-date with IFRS regulations and governmental accounting principles and ensuring our company's compliance with these regulations.
7. Providing leadership and direction to our accounting team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller (SOX compliance) position will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, with a strong emphasis on SOX compliance.
2. Proven experience in G/L Accounting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting, Accounting, Strategic Planning. NICE TO HAVE: Hospitality, IFRS regulations, and governmental accounting principles.
3. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
