Job Description

As a CAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming conceptual ideas and designs into technical drawings and models using specialized software. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to produce accurate and detailed blueprints and models that serve as the foundation for construction, manufacturing, or product development projects.

Duties: Including but not limited to:
  • Interpret design concepts and specifications to create accurate technical drawings and models.
  • Produce detailed 2D drawings, such as plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD software.
  • Develop three-dimensional models of structures, components, or products to visualize designs and identify potential issues.
  • Work closely with project teams to understand objectives and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
  • Ensure drawings adhere to standards and incorporate revisions throughout the design process.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to design specifications and procedures.
  • Conduct quality checks on designs to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
  • Provide assistance to project teams during construction, manufacturing, or assembly processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in CAD software and technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in engineering-related field (min. requirement)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a CAD Designer or similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of engineering documentation practices and change management principles.
  • Familiarity with document control systems and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
