Job Summary
The Social Worker is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning. Additionally, he/she is expected to function well as a multidisciplinary team member and participate in the unit community relations program.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work from an institution of higher education accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Required
Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Preferred
BLS
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
