Job Summary: Operating a company truck in a safe and efficient manner to deliver a variety of building materials, and at job sites load and unload materials.  

Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

• Use a moffett to load and unload materials.
• Always operate company vehicle and secure loads in a safe and efficient manner.
• At job sites and FCBS yard, assist in loading and unloading a variety of building products.
• Work with the dispatch team on routes that maximize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Comply with all company policies as well as federal, state, and local laws.
• Act as liaison for customer complaints, handling in an empathetic manner.
• Completes all paperwork as required by DOT.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your area of knowledge and expertise:

Preferred qualifications:

• CDL Class A or B required.
• High-school or GED
• 3-5 years of driving experience
• Valid CDL license and insurance required.
• Acceptable background check required.

Skills:

• Ability to consult, comprehend and interpret maps.
• Basic math and calculations
• Ability to work with a team to meet customers’ needs.
• Operates with a Safety-first mindset.
• Takes pride in maintenance of vehicles and customer service.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent (Carrying/lifting requirement) - Must be able to lift 80+ pounds.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and lifting.
• Work Environment: works in a variety of outside weather conditions.
