The client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead a professional services business within their portfolio company. The client is prepared to heavily invest in driving the company's scale through both organic growth and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a background in professional services and a track record of success in leadership roles, with a focus on commercial growth and integration experience.
The CEO will be responsible for transforming the business and driving scale ahead of an exit strategy. They will need to maintain and accelerate organic growth through professionalization and cross-selling, as well as create and launch new service lines of business. The candidate will also be tasked with identifying potential acquisition targets, leading due diligence, and integrating acquired companies to further enable scale and organic growth.
The client backing the client has a history of successfully scaling businesses, owning 18 portfolio companies with $1B in cumulative capital commitments. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of progressive career success, with experience as a CEO or top leader in a lower middle-market company, or in a senior leadership role within a larger enterprise.
