Description:  Our client operates a classic car repair shop that is located in Rancho Cordova. With over 30 years of experience and a clean, modern, well-equipped facility to suit all of its customers Classic Car and Hot Rod needs. They are looking to fill a position for a classic car mechanic who has experience in restoring and repairing classic cars.

Primary Responsibilities: 
The mechanic is responsible for restoring classic cars and ensuring the car is mechanically sounds and safe.

Key Activities:

• Install vehicle parts or accessories.
• Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
• Disassemble equipment to inspect for deficiencies.
• Rebuild parts or components.
• Reassemble equipment after repair.
• Confer with coworkers to coordinate work activities.
• Confer with customers or users to assess problems.
• Clean work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

 
Key Competencies:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Mechanic certification preferred.
• Organizational Skills.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Ability to solve complex issues.
• Proficiency with MS Office, accounting software and internet research.

Environment:

• Standard shop setting
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time, bend, and stretch
• Various temperatures and artificial light

Classification: Hourly,   Non-exempt
Salary Range: ($25.00 - $29.00 per hour)
Terms: Full-time 40 hours + per week
Work Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $25 - $29 per hr.
Location: Sacramento, CA.
