Job Description

Overview:

MindSource is looking for an experienced and motivated Account Manager to drive growth in our staffing and managed services business. Based remotely in Texas, this role demands a self-starter with strong business development skills, deep experience in IT services and staffing sales, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. The ideal candidate will be our front-line growth driver—building relationships, generating leads, and delivering tailored solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in staffing and managed services, especially in Austin, TX.
  • Conduct frequent onsite visits to meet with prospects and clients, providing a consultative approach to understand business needs.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships by consistently delivering value and fostering trust.
  • Generate your own leads through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging social/digital channels.
  • Craft customized staffing and service solutions, drawing on MindSource's proven success in cloud, DevOps, QA, PMO, and technical writing placements.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving client needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management in the staffing or IT services sector.
  • Proven success in a remote, autonomous role with minimal structure.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Austin and surrounding areas for client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of staffing delivery models including onshore, nearshore, and offshore.
  • Experience selling both contract staffing and managed service engagements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing a full sales cycle independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in working with clients in tech, healthcare, or finance sectors.
