Design and implement microservices, ensuring they are well-architected, scalable, and optimized for cloud deployment. Identify and leverage existing cloud services and solutions to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring proper configuration and smooth operation in various cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure that internal tools and services are efficient and provide the best developer experience. You build it, you deploy it, and you support it! What do you bring in? Understanding of how the internet works. Knowledge of microservices principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems. Understanding various database solutions and their trade-offs. Strong command over Java/Kotlin (JVM) programming, including advanced concepts, Java EE, and frameworks like Quarkus, Spring Boot, and their ecosystems. Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes across cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Familiarity with DevOps and automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based software deployment. Awareness of modern UI development approaches (Frontend SPAs, server-side rendered apps, templating engines). Hands-on frontend experience is not strongly required.
