As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for blending the highest-quality ingredients to create the first-class medications our animal friends deserve.When will you work?You will work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.What you'll do: Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements.Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist.Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security.Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies.Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements.Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal.Performs general clerical duties for the department.What you've done:Obtained a High School Diploma or GEDCalifornia State Pharmacy Technician License Required You've worked in a 'fast-paced' environment and really embrace itDemonstrated the ability to follow very specific guidelines and proceduresDeveloped strong basic math skills such as averages, percentages, and ratioWho you are:Methodical and disciplined - you welcome process and structure in your dayYou take pride in applying attention to detail and work with great accuracy and precisionAlways show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude.
