Construction Business Development Manager

Location: Remote - Must be able to travel and visit customers

Salary: $75k-$125k + Commission

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on driving growth within the construction sector, leveraging their expertise to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets in the construction market.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and project execution.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and potential areas for expansion.
• Prepare and present proposals and bids for new projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
• Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform business development strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with commercial, general contracting, retail, and multi-family projects is a plus.
• Experience in design-build projects and ground-up construction is desirable.
