We are a growing and local framing construction company specializing in multifamily wood frame homes. You will have lots of opportunities to not only improve your skills but also your position within our company. We offer competitive wages and benefits to all our employees.

This job would require you to:

• To be able to read and interpret blueprints efficiently and accurately.
• Use various tools in order to measure, cut and install construction components, like floor joists and beams, in accordance with the plans.
• Be physically able; this is a highly physical job where you will be expected to lift heavy objects multiple times a day.
• To take on a leadership role within the company where you will not only be responsible for team members who may have less experience than yourself but also for the streamline of the project’s entirety. This may look like identifying your carpenter helpers’ strengths (and weaknesses) and giving them tasks that fit accordingly.
• Work 5 days a week (40hrs) with the possibility of overtime hours.
• To have a good work ethic that ultimately contributes to the positive atmosphere and productivity of the company while keeping quality of work first in mind.

Ideally we are looking for someone with 5 years of experience in woodframe construction. If you have less but are able to perform the tasks mentioned above than that is just as great! Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude. We all have to go to work everyday, so we might as well enjoy the job and the people we see 5 days a week.
