This position pays up to $10.00 - $12.48/Hour (based on experience). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTODIAN
As a Custodian for the YMCA of Greater Erie, you will keep the building and property clean, well-functioning, and problem free. You will need to have the ability to fix and clean the assigned areas. Custodians are what keep assigned areas clean, up-to-date, and ready for the children, staff, and clients every day. It is more then just collecting trash, mopping, and fixing things, the hard work helps provide a safe, clean, and sanitary facility for all to enjoy.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTODIAN
Are you a people person who especially enjoys interacting with others? Do you have a basic understanding of building maintenance and cleaning agents? Are you patient and able to remain self-motivated to complete assigned tasks? Do you enjoy working independently and staying active throughout your day? If so, you might just be perfect for this position!
WORK SCHEDULE
The typical schedule for our Custodian position is 20-29 hours per week, mornings and weekends.
