Job Description

SUMMARY:

The incumbent in this role ensures seamless data integration across business systems, develops and maintains ETL workflows, supports BI reporting, and assists with projects like onboarding marketplaces and EDI testing. This role focuses on data accuracy, system coordination, and supporting business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Integration:

• Design, implement, and maintain data integration processes between multiple systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization across platforms to enhance business applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to guarantee timely and accurate data transfers.

• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Development:

• Develop, manage, and optimize ETL workflows for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data across systems.
• Create scripts and leverage automation tools to streamline integration tasks in support of business applications.

• System Coordination:

• Work closely with the Business Application Manager to align integration efforts with business needs and application requirements.
• Assist the Business Application Manager in managing integration projects, such as onboarding new marketplaces or conducting EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) testing.

• BI Reporting and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) users to create and support reports that leverage integrated data from various systems.
• Ensure data required for BI reporting is properly integrated, accurate, and accessible.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies in reports and provide the necessary support for report generation.

• Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain clear and concise documentation of integration processes, including data mapping, workflows, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide regular status reports to the Business Application Manager regarding the progress and issues related to data integrations.

• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education/experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT related major, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with data integration and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms Azure is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with EDI document protocol is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
