Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Wedding Sales (On Site) to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new wedding clients. The Director of Wedding Sales will play a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities. This position requires a motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in the wedding or hospitality industry. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability in the wedding segment. Lead and mentor the wedding sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to drive performance and achieve sales goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions and exceed expectations. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional materials to attract wedding clients and enhance brand visibility. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities for business growth. Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to prospective clients, negotiating terms and closing sales effectively. Coordinate with other departments, including event planning, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales contracts and deliver exceptional customer service. Track sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports to monitor progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices in wedding sales and hospitality to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in wedding sales, event sales, or hospitality sales. Luxury property preferred but not required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and drive results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and team members. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve business objectives. Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and drive revenue growth. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Salesforce/Delphi software and Microsoft Office Suite. Passion for the wedding industry and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for clients. Compensation Base Pay Start Rate: $110,000 - $140,000/Yr.
