Electrical EstimatorLocation Tempe, AZ | OnsiteCompensation & Schedule• $86,000–$130,000/year• Full-timeROLE IMPACTThe Estimator I plays a pivotal role in project acquisition by preparing accurate bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. Success in this role ensures that projects are competitively priced, well-documented, and fully understood before execution, directly impacting profitability and client satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Review drawings and specifications to define scope and estimate components.• Prepare detailed cost takeoffs and enter data into estimating software systems.• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and alignment with project plans.• Develop complete bid packages including subcontracts, tools, equipment rentals, and material costs.• Support bid reviews and coordinate project turnover to operations teams.• Draft scope letters and maintain estimate backup documentation.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field• 2+ years of experience estimating commercial construction (electrical preferred)• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Accubid and CAD/3D software experience a plus• Strong numerical, blueprint interpretation, and problem-solving skillsCORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS• Microsoft Outlook• Microsoft Word• Microsoft Excel• Accubid Estimating Software• CAD or 3D Modeling Software• PDF Markup Tools (Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat)PREFERRED SKILLS• Ability to interpret cost systems and manage data-driven estimates• Experience preparing detailed scope clarifications and client documentation• Strong communication and collaborative skills across teams and stakeholdersEQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT• Office-based with occasional travel to job sites (up to 25%)• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, type, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs• Variable lighting and environmental conditions indoors; moderate job site noiseCOMPLIANCE• We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.• Pre-employment background and drug screening required.Apply today and take the first step toward a rewarding career in escrow services.
