Leidos currently has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to perform design, development, and hardware/software integration in Vista, CA for the Intelligent Sensor Systems Branch of the Leidos Innovations Center. This position will support multiple programs and projects Our projects focus on fusing sensors, real-time signal processing, and state of the art intelligent systems using small multi-disciplinary teams.
Primary Responsibilities. - Designing, implementing, and testing real-time software systems running Linux or a real-time operating systems.
- Develop and implement test plans to verify that each embedded software function performs as intended. Utilize commercial test tools or develop and adapt custom hardware and software to exercise and debug embedded software.
- Develop software integration and testing processes in support of new systems.
- Provide systems integration and testing for new systems.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study and minimum 8+ years of embedded software development and test and integration experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
- Designing, implementing, and testing real-time software
- Knowledge of code configuration management
- Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to coworkers, teammates, and customers.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications. - Experience with GitLab and Jira
- Experience with Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence algorithms and libraries

Pay Range: Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
