**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Employee-Side Labor and Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As an attorney in our firm, you will be responsible for representing employees in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, retaliation claims, and more. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of employees and contribute to our mission of upholding workers' rights.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide legal advice and counsel to individual employees regarding labor and employment matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for filing in state and federal courts.
- Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, administrative hearings, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
- Conduct depositions, interviews, and investigations to gather evidence.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in settlement conferences.
- Advocate for clients in court during hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Stay up to date with changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Ohio bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 2-7 years of experience as an employee-side labor and employment attorney.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, and state-specific statutes.
- Demonstrated experience handling labor and employment litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and dedication to client advocacy.
