Job Summary
The Engineering Manager will lead our team of engineers by using their industry knowledge to oversee the development and on time execution of projects, managing budgets, conduct research and development t for new designs, products and processes while maintaining technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes.
• Check work for technical accuracy.
• Coordinate work with other managers and staff.
• Oversees mechanical and structural 3D design of multi-faceted professional of mobile equipment.
• Reviews and approves all final Inventor designs and drawings.
• Attends weekly management meetings to discuss projects.
• Research and develop designs and products.
• Create technical documentation such as datasheets, BOMs, and drawings.
• Determine the need for training and talent development.
• Hire contractors and build teams.
• Ensure products have the support of upper management.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.
• Manages New Product Design.
• Responsible for all BOM’s for existing and new designs.
• Technical writing and producing detailed fabrication instructions.
• Responsible for Engineering Change Request (ECR’s) and calculation of material requirements.
• Performs prototyping, product testing and product re-design as requested.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role.
• Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
• Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
• Math skills, including calculus and other advanced mathematics.
• Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules simultaneously.
• Relevant training and/or certifications as an Engineering Manager.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• Some electrical experience.
• Industrial combustion.
• PLC automation.
