A highly regarded law firm is seeking an Environment & Land Use Associate to join it’s Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic practice group working on a wide range of matters, including renewable energy, transit and transportation, regulated utilities, housing and commercial developments, and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting land use and environmental due diligence.
• Managing land use entitlements and environmental/resource permitting.
• Advising on CEQA and NEPA counseling and compliance.
• Defending zoning and environmental approvals in state and federal court.

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the State Bar of California.
• 2-5 years of experience in environmental and land use law.
• Strong writing and analytical skills, with a deep interest in environmental law.
