Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an ETL Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC/Chicago, IL/Addison, TX/Plano, TX/Pennington, NJ (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate is responsible for transforming enterprise ETL platforms and ensuring seamless integration across multiple lines of business.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
ETL Developer job responsibilities include:
Developing and delivering ETL solutions to meet business and technology goals, ensuring the seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
Automating ETL processes using enterprise tools such as AutoSyst, JIRA, and Jenkins.
Collaborating with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical designs and decisions.
Creating and optimizing SQL schema objects, complex attributes, and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Building and tuning performance of large datasets, including query optimization for systems like MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Hadoop.
Ensuring data quality and integrity through the development of data structures, transformation processes, and quality controls.
Documenting and communicating deployment, maintenance, and support procedures for ETL processes.
Providing operational support and troubleshooting when issues arise in production environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in ETL development or a related IT field.
Strong experience working with SQL, Python, Hadoop/Hive, and data warehouse concepts, including dimensional modeling.
Proven ability to optimize query performance for large datasets using tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, and various RDBMS.
