The Food Runner at Good Luck Lounge will perform table maintenance duties according to Company service standards, perform opening, running, and closing duties, respond to guest inquiries courteously, maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through the work area, keep the floor neat and clean, clean spills immediately, manage trash and recyclables properly, clean and stock line to par, stay informed of menu items, follow private party service guidelines, assist other employees as needed, follow all safety standards, and occasionally work special events scheduled throughout the venue. Requirements include experience in high volume kitchen operations, food service as an expeditor or server in a high-volume environment, exceptional communication skills, sense of urgency, time management, kitchen sanitation standards, critical thinking and decision making, and a high school diploma. Preferred qualifications include point of sales experience. The work environment is fast-paced, loud, and often stressful, requiring prolonged standing and the ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper techniques.
