Are you a Software Developer that likes working on important and high visibility projects? Then we need your help! We have an urgent and immediate need for a Software Developer to join our team at a customer-site in McLean, VA.

Project: The customer has a need to build a new application that needs a dedicated software developer to help implement the customer’s vision. You will have the opportunity to help shape and the design, UI/UX and functionality of the application while working with a team of dedicated software developers. The job will allow you to be instrumental in developing new ideas and unique solutions for an application that is getting off the ground and will have high visibility.

Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:

• Implement new application features based on customer requirements.
• Support customer and program strategic and tactical planning activities
• Work with UI/UX experts to build a intuitive and well researched application.
• Understand the technical needs of other developers in the overall application architecture.

Minimum Requirements:

• US Citizen with active/current TS/SCI security clearance with required Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, etc. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience.
• Experience with Software Development programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.

Desired Skills:

• Experience deploying software applications in the cloud.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot
• Familiarity with Vue.js
• Familiarity with databasing relational data
• Familiarity with geospatial tools and applications
• Experience supporting enterprise applications
