FundraiserCart is one of the leading school fundraising platforms west of the Mississippi. We specialize in helping schools and other groups raise money through online and offline product sales and donations. We provide the products, platform, and system that schools and other groups use to sell. Products range from cookie dough, chocolate bars, candles, popcorn, and more. Our goal is to make it easy for schools and groups to raise the money they need to fund what is important to them.
About the Job
We are looking for an energetic and outgoing box truck driver to deliver our products to schools and groups. This is an extremely important position and is more than just driving. As a driver, you are the last point of contact with our groups and customer service and professionalism is a must. Please read the duties carefully to fully understand this position.
Duties
· Load pre-loaded pallets onto the truck.
· Drive to the school or group location. Distance to schools could be up to 10 hours away, sometimes longer. Overnight trips will be required. In these cases, meals and lodging are provided.
· Once at the school or group, you will have to unload the truck and set up the distribution process by laying our boxes in chronological order. Each student is assigned a number so you would set up the distribution by laying out all boxes in chronological order.
· Some of our schools also want help during the distribution process, so you may need to stay and help hand out boxes to students and parents.
· This job is highly customer service-focused. You must be able to help the schools/groups/parents/students navigate the distribution process.
· While we strive to make things as easy as possible, this job also requires problem-solving and detail-oriented skills. Since you are the last contact that our groups have with us, you must be able to provide a fun, professional, and helpful experience.
· This job is both physical and customer service-centric.
· This is a part-time and seasonal job with most of the work wrapping up around mid-December.
Physical Requirements
· You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and operate a manual and/or automatic pallet jack.
· Must be able to operate a 26-28ft box truck with a lift gate.
· Must be able to sit for 6-8 hours.
· Must be able to unload and downstack pallets at the pickup location.
· Must be able to maintain an accurate log of driving hours.
· A CDL is not required, but a clean driving record is needed.
· You will also need to pass a background check, a DOT medical exam, and a drug test (including marijuana).
