• Patient Volume/Census: 20-25 patients per day

• Case Mix: General GI cases, Colonoscopies, EDGs
FACILITY INFORMATION
• No. of Beds in Department: Part of a 1,138-bed regional referral center
• EMR System: Cerner
• Support Staff Available: APPs available during weekdays; 3-member team covers inpatient consults on weekends
• Reason for Coverage: Full-time coverage needed – 2 MDs to split a 7-on/7-off rotation

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: WV license required; client willing to license if provider qualifies for WV temp license
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Gastroenterology
• DEA: Required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient gastroenterology services
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and EDGs
• Work within a team structure alongside APPs and consult with other specialists as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
• Participate in call coverage as required
