Restaurant General Manager
Join a fast paced upscale restaurant located in the heart of Old Town Temecula, seeking a detailed-oriented hospitality leader who is passionate about food and wine as well as committed to providing exceptional experiences for guests while creating a respectful, rewarding and enriching environment for employees. Family owned with a long history in the Temecula Valley involved in agriculture and wine.
General Manager is responsible for every aspect of the operation including providing the oversight, direction, coordination, planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation. The General Manager is mandated to operate with the highest level of integrity and require that standard of others.
Specific Qualifications for the Position Include:
Experience as a general manager or assistant general manager
Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis and forecasting
In depth knowledge of human resources
Toast experience preferred. POS/Payroll/Scheduling/Inventory/Bill Pay/xtraCHEF/Events all under the Toast umbrella
OpenTable for reservations
In-depth knowledge of industry trends, regulations and best practices
Wine knowledge required, experience as a sommelier preferred
Formal business education or a restaurant management degree is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to drive results, manage resources effectively and adapt to changing priorities
Experience with overseeing and coordinating maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment
Experience with managing large parties and special events
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and evenings
Must be certified in all safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day)
Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation:
Job Type: Full Time. Annual Salary $90,000
Desirable schedule: Closes at 9pm Tuesday-Thursday, 10pm Friday-Saturday, 8pm Sunday
