Job Responsibilities: Design and architect large centralized data repositories (Data Lakes / Data Warehouses / Data Marts). Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Cloud stack including metadata management, schedule management, and security management. Utilize Apache NiFi, Spark, HBase, Hive, and security management tools like Kerberos, Knox, and Ranger. Work with data ingestion tools such as Talend and Kafka. Extensive experience with data modeling, data ingestion, data security, and data governance. Provide excellent technical and team leadership. Mentor team members and drive innovation and creativity. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate implementation methodology, project milestones, and system functionality. Create, maintain, and enforce standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions. Act as subject matter expert and provide recommendations to internal teams and client stakeholders. Prepare development estimates and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team in design and implementation of software components. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with designing and architecting large centralized data repositories. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Hadoop and Cloud stack. Knowledge of data ingestion tools like Talend and Kafka.
