About the Role:
Join A+ Reading and Math Tutoring as a Part-time Reading and Math Tutor for K-8 students in Miami-Dade and Broward. You will inspire young minds and help them achieve academic success in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized tutoring sessions in reading and math for K-8 students.
• Assess student progress and adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
• Utilize engaging teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and areas for improvement.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
• Implement educational games and activities to make learning fun.
• Track attendance and report on student performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff to share best practices and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching K-8 students is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of reading and math curricula for elementary and middle school.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
• Patience and a passion for working with children.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Background check clearance to work with minors.
