Job Description

Our client located in Nashville, TN is seeking a Permanent Human Resources Director to join their team.

  • Job Title: Human Resources Director
  • Location: Nashville
  • Direct Hire
  • Schedule: M- F 8-5pm Fully Onsite
  • Salary: $100-140K

You will be responsible for driving organizational performance, talent strategy, and people development initiatives aligned with each division's goals. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of culture, performance, and innovation within Holley's fast-paced, enthusiast-driven environment.



Key Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Division General Managers and their leadership teams.
  • Translate Division-specific business objectives into integrated people strategies.
  • Support strategic initiatives including organizational design, headcount planning, and succession planning.



Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead talent review and development processes across all supported functions.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and feedback.
  • Coach leaders and managers in team building, talent readiness, and change leadership.



Workforce Planning & Organizational Design

  • Partner with Division leadership and HR centers of excellence to anticipate workforce needs.
  • Lead talent acquisition strategies tailored to the functional and cultural nuances of each division.
  • Drive proactive organizational design efforts that support scalability and innovation.



Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Act as a culture champion and change agent, aligning teams to Holley's core values and mission.
  • Implement strategies to improve team engagement, retention, and belonging.
  • Address organizational health and employee feedback with clear, action-oriented plans.





HR Program Delivery

  • Partner with COEs (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards) to deliver enterprise-wide programs effectively at the divisional level.
  • Own the execution and local adaptation of performance management, compensation planning, and leadership development initiatives.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partner roles with leadership team exposure.
  • Experience supporting product development, engineering, or marketing teams highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with senior leaders across matrixed environments.
  • Track record of driving talent development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort in fast-paced, performance-driven cultures.
  • Passion for automotive, motorsports, or enthusiast brands is a plus.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
