Position Summary
Our Service Managers act as champions for our brand, they collaborate with teammates and demonstrate to the Charlottesville community our company values. Service Managers direct day-to-day field service operations and are responsible for much more. Our Service Managers are in the field with Technicians on a daily basis coaching, teaching, and engaging at a high level to help drive an exceptional safety culture, deliver unbelievable customer care, talent development and business growth.

A day in the life:
+ Start the day by checking in with the team to ensure that the Technicians are equipped with what is needed to complete their tasks, emphasizing safety protocols for each job
+ Spend several days a week as a boots on the ground leader and serve as a dynamic leader in the field
+ Guide a culture that demonstrates that safety is the top priority; teach and practice behaviors that show critical thinking in safety to prevent injuries
+ Visit job sites to inspect ongoing work, ensuring compliance and quality control with safety standards and customer requests
+ Lead a team of talented Service Technicians in a challenging, fast-paced service environment
+ Drive operational excellence and achieve goals through day-to-day management (i.e., reporting, inventory control, technical support, service coordination and scheduling processes)
+ Serve as a key support resource for the Administration team, Service Coordinators, and Sales team (ability to bridge the gap between the field and office teammates and customers as needed).
+ Cultivate and maintain lasting relationships with current customers and work with both current and potential customers to qualify service needs; develop estimates that will grow our business in the region
+ Focus on development of the team, through exceptional coaching, teaching, and caring
What we are looking for:
+ Accomplished in developing high performing service teams through coaching, motivating, recruiting, and performance management
+ Commercial HVACR service experience to provide support to Technicians for service issues
+ Industry related Service Manager or Service Supervisor experience
+ Skilled in developing commercial HVAC maintenance and service estimates
+ Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
+ Ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions, and expectations
+ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to provide innovative solutions
+ High energy level to handle a dynamic, evolving, and fast-paced workload
+ Professional demeanor and positive attitude
