GLE is looking for an Industrial Hygiene/Junior Project Manager in our Ft. Lauderdale office to join our growing team. Who as a member of our collaborative team, will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and bonus opportunities.

Job Description:

• Perform asbestos inspections. bulk sampling, and air monitoring
• Mold investigations
• Lead-based paint projects
• Perform Phase I/II ESA’s, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and

general field sampling (soil and ground water) in accordance with FDEP SOP’s.

• Project management
• Prepare reports and proposals
• Budget management and close interaction with clients

Job Requirements:

• BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
• 0-3 year minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting
• Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH)
• Experience performing asbestos inspections in numerous and varied situations/locations (NESHAP, AHERA) is a plus
• Experience with mold assessments and IH services in general is a plus
• Experience with lead-based paint projects preferred
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
• Current asbestos certifications is a plus
• Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
• Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
