As a fun and dynamic startup, we're seeking a passionate Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team and lead our social media initiatives.

Position Overview: As the Social Media Marketing Intern at Prox, you will be the driving force behind our social media presence. Working closely with the founder, you'll have the autonomy to test and implement innovative ideas to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive user acquisition. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.. This includes crafting compelling graphics, videos, blogs, and infographics that resonate with our target audience.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance our social media presence.
• Strategy Development : Collaborate with the founder to design and execute social media strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and user engagement.
• Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster a vibrant online community.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics to identify high-performing content and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports with actionable insights.
• Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including influencer collaborations and paid advertising initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Experience : Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms for yourself, brands, or organizations.
• Skills: Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management platforms. Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Attributes: Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Passionate about marketing.
• Education: Preferred but not required (Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field). If you don't have a degree that's fine too!
