Job Description
The Corporate IT Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall IT strategy and operations across the enterprise. The primary focus is optimizing technology infrastructure, systems, and processes to support the company's business objectives and growth initiatives. The IT Director leads a team of IT professionals, collaborates with various departments, and ensures that Hartung's IT resources are efficient, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements
- Design and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with Hartung's business goals and long-term vision.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize IT initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity and innovation.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Hartung's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure to support ongoing operations and future growth.
- Establish and enforce robust security protocols and measures to safeguard the company's sensitive data, intellectual property, and customer information.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect against potential IT disruptions.
- Manage the selection, deployment, and maintenance of various software applications, including Fenevsion, relevant to the glass fabrication industry.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline business processes and improve workflow efficiencies through technology.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for various IT projects and ongoing operations.
- Evaluate and recommend investments in new technologies that align with Hartung's objectives and improve operational performance.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to data privacy, security, and IT operations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement in IT processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is advantageous. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience in glass fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing or glass fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, security, and software applications relevant to the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing IT budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
- A strong focus on data security and compliance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are a plus.
