SUMMARY: 

The Junior Email Marketing & E-Commerce Associate is an entry-level role focused on supporting the execution and performance of email marketing campaigns and the day-to-day operations of the brand’s e-commerce platforms. This role will assist in building and scheduling email sends, automating customer journeys, managing product listings and digital storefronts, and compiling performance metrics across email and online sales channels. This position will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external agencies to ensure all campaigns, automations and online updates are executed on time, accurately, and in line with brand standards. Over time, this position has potential to grow into broader areas of digital marketing, lifecycle strategy, customer retention, and data-driven customer retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Email Marketing Support 

• Assist in building and scheduling email campaigns using platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp. 
• Support setup and maintenance of email automation flows including:
• Welcome series 
• Abandoned cart and browse abandonment recovery 
• Post-purchase follow-ups and review requests 
• Upsell and cross-sell flows to promote complementary products or bundle upgrades 
• Subscription renewal and replenishment reminders 
• Win-back and retention flows to re-engage inactive customers 
• Help configure trigger and condition logic, dynamic product blocks, and personalization tags to ensure precise targeting 
• Manage with audience segmentation and suppression lists to improve engagement and deliverability.
• Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, design, send timing and flow variations to optimize results. 
• Track and analyze performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.). 
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, promotional calendar, and compliance requirements. 
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate Shopify data and product feeds into automated flows. 

E-Commerce Coordination 

• Help maintain and update the online store, including product listings, descriptions, and assets. 
• Support seasonal updates, promotional campaigns, and inventory checks. 
• Ensure a consistent, user-friendly shopping experience across e-commerce and social commerce platforms (e.g., Meta Shop, Google Merchant, TikTok Shop). 
• Assist with tracking online sales, customer behavior, and performance reports. 

General Marketing & Administrative Support 

• Help organize and fulfill product orders for PR, influencer, and promotional initiatives. 
• Maintain digital asset folders and assist in coordinating content and campaign timelines. 
• Support the digital marketing team with ad-hoc projects and reporting needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 1+ year of experience in marketing, e-commerce, or other related experience. 
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus. 
• Interest or experience in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or similar CMS. 
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. 
• Comfortable using Microsoft 365. 
• Bonus: Knowledge of social commerce platforms (Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop) and basic tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Google Analytics. 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, business or other related degree and/or a minimum of one year related experience required. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
