A1 HOME COLLECTIONS (A1HC) manufactures innovative home products, selling through multiple brands through leading e-commerce and retail channels to customers worldwide. Established in 2015, A1HC remains privately owned and operates in the United States, Canada, and India.

A1HC is seeking an  Experienced   Shipping & Receiving Clerk for its  Largo, Florida warehouse location. This detail-oriented individual will be an important team player in creating a productive and efficient work environment. This position reports to the Floor Manager.

Schedule: 40 hours a week, 8AM-5PM ( may change)

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks often with heavy rugs, in confined spaces
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms and warehouses.
• Familiarity with multiple SKUS of varying product categories.
• Inspect incoming materials, verify quantities per packing list and notify proper individuals of defects or discrepancies.
• Mark and label containers, tags, or products.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated locations
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Pack/Box/Pallet all outgoing orders.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Make all shipping labels, including labels for pallets, bills of lading, FedEx labels, and packing slips.
• Drop ship orders as needed
• Maintain the work area and warehouse clean and orderly and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• warehouse maintenance - sweep, clean, minor repairs, paint.
• Perform special assignments and other duties as required.

Required Work Experience & Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in receiving, shipping or inventory control - preferably in an e-commerce drop ship environment
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
• Able to take direction when needed.
• Able to work efficiently both independently and in a team setting.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Work authorization in the United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Available to start immediately - local candidates only.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move or lift, up to 40 pounds.
• Stand for eight (8) or more hours per day.
• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, squatting, crouching, standing, turning/twisting, extending arms to reach, etc.
• Climb ladders and stairs.
• Ability to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods.
