Job Description:
Rapid City Therapeutic Massage is seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Our mission is to provide top-quality therapeutic services to help our clients achieve physical relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients experience a personalized, professional, and rejuvenating massage experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional massage therapy services, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and hot stone massages, based on clients’ needs and preferences.
• Perform initial assessments of clients to understand their specific therapeutic goals and concerns.
• Customize massage techniques and pressure levels to ensure client satisfaction and comfort.
• Maintain accurate client records, including medical history, preferences, and feedback from each session.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients by following all hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and efficient workplace atmosphere.
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.
• Maintain all necessary licensure and certifications in accordance with state and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Massage Therapist license in South Dakota
• Experience in providing professional massage therapy.
• Knowledgeable in a variety of massage techniques and modalities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to remain professional and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized massage techniques (e.g., sports massage, aromatherapy, etc.).
• Previous experience working in a spa or wellness setting.
• Ability to work with clients who have specific therapeutic needs or injuries.

Pay: From $29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
