Our client located in Houston, Tx is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary. This Legal Secretary MUST be able to manage the workload of 6 attorneys with minimal supervision.

Litigation Legal Secretary will provide support to the litigation group including but not limited to:

• Maintain and manage calendar. Schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
• Drafting and typing various types of documents, including correspondence, pleadings, memoranda and other such documents specific to the litigation practice area.
• Proofreading and redlining work for accuracy, format, grammar, and punctuation.
• Must have Texas experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors
• Reconciles and submits travel, client development, and client expenses for reimbursement through Chrome River and reconciles AMEX statements for all assignments.
• Complete complex litigation e-filings in state and federal courts.
• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks.
• Generate Table of Contents and Table of Authorities.
• Hyperlinks appellate briefs.
• Compares documents using Workshare Compare.
