LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Outpatient Infusion for a local contract nursing job in Bronx, New York.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to cancer patients. The Oncology RN will monitor patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, manage symptoms, and administer medications. This role also includes responsibilities in research, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized care plans for oncology patients.
• Identify and manage cancer-related health issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in cancer research to improve treatment protocols.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families.
• Educate patients and families about treatment processes and expectations.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of New York.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; oncology experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training in oncology care.
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications.
• IV infusion experience or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
