About Us:

Founded in 1978, Brownswood Nursery has been inspiring people to grow for over four decades. We offer full-service landscaping from plant production to design, installation, and maintenance. As a family-owned company, were deeply committed to helping our team members grow in their careers.

What Youll Do:

Youll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide variety of equipment and infrastructure, including:

• Company vehicles (box trucks, golf carts, etc.)
• Power tools and landscaping equipment (generators, Bobcats, tractors, irrigation systems)
• General facilities: roofing, plumbing, screens, fixtures, structural repairs
• Groundskeeping and irrigation systems
• Security and surveillance systems
• Maintaining service logs and safety procedures

Youll also help with:

• Organizing and maintaining workspaces, tools, and supplies
• Supporting weather-related prep and cleanup (on-call availability during events)
• Assisting with special programs, traffic/parking support, and event setup as needed

What Were Looking For:

A self-starter who enjoys fixing things and working with their hands
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and professionalism
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Willingness to give and receive feedback respectfully as part of a team
Comfortable interacting with staff and occasionally with customers
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, loading, moving materials)
Experience with horticulture, facility maintenance, or mechanical repairs is a plusbut not required
