Job Description

We are so excited to partner with one of our esteemed clients who is seeking a highly creative leader as their first Director of Marketing! The role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role leads the marketing department, overseeing branding, digital marketing, advertising, and customer engagement initiatives. Success in this position requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and analytical skills to enhance the company’s market presence and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support business goals.
  • Identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
  • Align marketing efforts with sales and product development teams.

Brand Management:

  • Maintain and enhance brand identity and messaging across all channels.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, storytelling, and corporate communications.

Digital & Content Marketing:

  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Lead content marketing strategies, including blogs, videos, and thought leadership pieces.

Advertising & Campaigns:

  • Plan and manage multi-channel advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize for ROI.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, ensuring collaboration and growth.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports on marketing effectiveness.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and budgets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field – or the equivalent in experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing management, ideally in a high-tech environment.
  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

  • Strong systems experience in Wordpress, Drupal or others.
  • Email marketing campaign software is strongly preferred (such as Constant Contact).
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and market research.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems. SAP preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns.
